My Personal Growth journey started of course when I was a kid. But, it started to take shape in the Army from 2001-2003. I started to realize it when I started to listen to this guy named Dave Ramsey in 2004. While listening to his daily radio show when I could figure out what station and time it came on, this is before the internet was easily accessible, I started to implement his teachings in our daily life. Once I understood what he was teaching, I changed my major in college from Fitness Management to Financial Planning. I graduated in December 2006 with a degree in Family Financial Planning from Alabama. I was a financial advisor a couple of times from 2007-2010. But never really moved forward. So, it stopped there for a little bit. Then AdvoCare found us in 2012. We found more energy and lost some weight. Which was awesome. We still do AdvoCare to this day. But, we went to Success School with AdvoCare in 2013. At Success School I heard this guy named Andy Andrews. That is when my personal growth journey really started to get moving.I dove in head first. I started to learn everything he had to say. I started to listen to Dave again. I learned about podcasts and audiobooks. While listening to those I learned about more people to learn about. I started to learn more about leadership and what personal growth is. So, while I am not perfect, nor will I ever be, this training platform has been a lifetime in the making. I am bringing you awesome training that I have experienced and/or found that I want you to now experience. As I said, I am not perfect, but I do work towards being a Champion every day. Have fun!"When you don't know what you want, other people will get you to do what they want." - Justin Su'aWhile you are here at Bama Bounders, we want you to become more. You are most likely either in high school or college. You are just starting your journey towards what you think you want to do with the rest of your life. Most college students change their majors multiple times trying to figure out what they want to do when they "grow up". I know I had at least 4 different majors in college before finally settling on Financial Planning. And you know what, I do not need a college degree for what I do now. I own the gym, host multiple gymnastics meets a year, I am a husband and a dad. I also help coach my kids sports teams and volunteer for any functions they have at school. College might help with owning the gym. But life, leadership, wisdom, personal growth and those who you surround yourself with are what make everything work. So, in addition to the orientation courses and the coaching/office courses, I highly recommend you do the leadership courses. Those to me are more beneficial to your long term success as a person. So, lets become a Champion and Leader in Everything We Do, so we can Change the World!-Eric
